Job summary

Compunnel, Inc. seeks an experienced Power BI Developer to design, build, and optimize enterprise reporting solutions across SQL Server, Excel, and Alteryx. You will leverage Copilot for AI-assisted analytics, create data models, KPIs, and scalable dashboards that inform strategic decisions.

You will collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust BI solutions, implement data governance and security, and ensure timely data refresh and performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Power BI development and BI experience.
• Strong SQL query and stored procedures experience.
• Experience with large datasets and data warehousing concepts.
• Ability to translate requirements into scalable BI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and scorecards using Power BI.
• Create and optimize data models, KPIs, measures, and calculations using DAX and Power Query.
• ETL data from multiple sources using Alteryx.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database objects.
• Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements and translate them into BI solutions.
• Implement data governance and security, including row-level security (RLS).
• Monitor report performance and data refresh issues.
