Job summary

Amazon Payments, Inc. is seeking a Compliance Manager to support the API compliance program across US states as a regulated money transmitter.

In the 2nd line North America Risk and Compliance Office, you will drive financial crimes compliance, translate complex regulations into practical solutions, and design agentic AI workflows to scale GRC operations. The role requires hands-on experience in designing or governing AI-enabled compliance processes, with collaboration across teams and a focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in compliance, auditing, quality assurance, or regulatory affairs.
• Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering laws and regulations, including BSA and OFAC.

Responsibilities

• Lead API compliance strategy aligned with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Provide AML/CFT guidance to cross-functional teams.
• Conduct AML/CFT risk assessments and mitigation planning.
• Develop, document, and maintain robust policies and procedures.
• Review risk records, policy breaches, and escalations.
• Prepare reports for governance committees with key insights.
