Job summary

The Hartford is seeking an experienced Agile Execution Coach to advance delivery excellence and organizational effectiveness across the enterprise. You will partner with business and technology teams to accelerate value, leverage AI-enabled practices, and promote governance and transparency.

The role features a hybrid schedule with in-office presence three days per week (Tue–Thu) in Hartford, CT or Charlotte, NC. Strong coaching, analytics, and SAFe/Agile expertise are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
• Experience coaching teams, leaders, programs, and organizations.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
• Experience improving delivery predictability and organizational effectiveness.
• Fluency with metrics, dashboards, and analytics to support decisions.
• Experience using AI copilots and AI-assisted workflows.
• Understanding of responsible AI practices and governance.
• Experience leading organizational change and transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge of Lean Portfolio Management, Product Operating Models, and modern software delivery.
• Agile or SAFe certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Align strategy to execution by translating priorities into actionable plans.
• Improve delivery outcomes through coaching, facilitation, and execution management.
• Enable end-to-end delivery with consistent planning and governance across teams.
• Strengthen governance and transparency through metrics and leadership insights.
• Coach leaders and teams on Agile, Product, Portfolio, and AI-enabled practices.
• Advance AI Operating Model adoption in planning, delivery, and governance.
• Leverage AI copilots to improve productivity and insights.
• Use data-driven analysis to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Identify and remove impediments and organizational constraints.
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment across business, product, engineering, risk, and data.
