Job summary

EY’s Platforms Practice seeks a Manager in Application Design and Development to lead delivery of complex projects and client engagements. You will guide teams, ensure quality, and manage risk while collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders.

The role emphasizes agile delivery, API design, and cloud/distributed systems, with opportunities to mentor talent and influence platform strategy across diverse engagements.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically, no less than 4 - 6 years of relevant experience.
• 4+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents.
• Ability to design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI.
• Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC and Azure Active Directory (AAD).
• Experience with Data Visualization tools like: D3, Highcharts, Ploty.js, Ember Charts.
• Experience using Commercial Dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker).
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) / unit testing.
• Experience working on complex problems and in a complex codebase.
• Knowledge of frontend best practices around page performance.

• Provide direction and feedback to team members, ensuring successful task completion.
