Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Application Design and Development to lead delivery of complex software platforms and services. You will guide teams, drive architecture, and work with clients to deliver robust solutions using Java, Python, and modern APIs.

The role emphasizes AI-enabled platforms, cloud and distributed systems, and a strong focus on quality, risk management, and stakeholder communication within EY’s hybrid model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (4-year) required.
• 4+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal.
• Experience with Generative AI and building Agents.
• Ability to design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI.
• Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC and Azure Active Directory (AAD).
• Experience with Data Visualization tools like D3, Highcharts, Plotly.js, Ember Charts.
• Experience with Commercial Dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker).
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) / unit testing.
• Frontend best practices around page performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the effective management and delivery of processes, solutions, and projects with emphasis on quality and risk management.
• Engage regularly with external clients, participating in working sessions and leading workstreams from planning through execution and closure.
• Travel may be required as needed by external clients.
