EY is seeking a Manager in Application Design and Development to lead delivery of platform solutions in a hybrid client-facing role. You will guide teams through planning, design, and execution, applying AI-enabled approaches to solve complex problems and deliver high-quality software across frontend, backend, and data components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• 4+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents.
• Ability to design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI.
• Integrate authentication/authorization with Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC and Azure AD.
• Experience with data visualization tools like D3, Highcharts, Plotly.js, Ember Charts.
• Experience with dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker).
• Experience with TDD / unit testing and robust code quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of processes, solutions, and projects with strong quality focus.
• Engage with external clients and lead workstreams from planning through execution.
• Provide direction to team members and ensure task completion.
