Job summary

EY seeks a technically adept Manager in Application Design and Development to lead delivery of complex projects spanning mobile, web, and tablet interfaces. You will translate business needs into technical designs, develop prototypes, and advance agile delivery while guiding teams through planning, execution and client-facing workstreams.

The role emphasizes API/microservice design, cloud and distributed systems, and hands-on coding across Java, Python, and JavaScript stacks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically, no less than 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• 4+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents.
• Ability to design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI.
• Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC, and Azure Active Directory (AAD).
• Experience with Data Visualization tools like D3, Highcharts, Plotly.js, Ember Charts.
• Experience using Commercial Dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker).
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) / unit testing.
• Experience working on complex problems and in a complex codebase.
• Knowledge of frontend “best practices” around page performance.
