Job summary

EY in the United States seeks a Manager in Application Design and Development to lead delivery of complex software solutions. You will guide planning, execution and client sessions, with travel as needed, and mentor agile teams across front-end, back-end, data, and integration workstreams.

Strong expertise in Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, API design, and cloud architectures is required, along with experience in AI/agents and modern software practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• 4+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents
• Ability to design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI
• Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC and Azure Active Directory (AAD)
• Experience with Data Visualization tools like D3, Highcharts, Plotly.js, Ember Charts
• Experience using Commercial Dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker)
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) / unit testing
• Experience working on complex problems and in a complex codebase
• Knowledge of frontend best practices around page performance
