Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Director of AI & Digital Transformation for the Space and Mission Systems segment.

The role leads AI strategy, data, and digital initiatives across PMX, aligning AI governance with enterprise objectives and driving data-driven decision making. Responsibilities include building the AI roadmap, guiding adoption of digital tools, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to improve program execution and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 15 years of prior related experience; Graduate Degree with 13 years; or 19 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years experience as a functional manager.
• 5+ years leading digital transformation and AI implementation.
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), copilots, AI agents, and prompt engineering.
• Experience redesigning processes using digital technologies and data governance

Responsibilities

• Establishes Program Management AI/digital roadmap, investments, and adoption across PM community.
• Identify where AI can create measurable value and drive transformation.
• Lead digital/automation enterprise initiatives (Program Digital Cockpit, Control Tower, BI).
• Drive adoption of new technology and technologies in use across the program teams.
• Ensure data integrity and manage data pipelines for the segment program.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align vision and gain buy-in.
• Ensure capability advancement projects are scheduled and budgeted.
• Travel to other sites as needed (10-15%).
• Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance on start.
