Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 4–8 years of relevant professional experience in quantitative fields.
• Strong quantitative skills with ability to judge data quality and model performance.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English; ability to present to diverse audiences.
• Experience working with governments, multilateral organizations, or in global health settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead ongoing research on AI diagnostics landscape, assess current and emerging tools for LMICs.
• Evaluate training data quality, model architectures, and data gaps for priority diagnostics.
• Develop CHAI's market intelligence on AI diagnostics, covering evidence, performance, and regulatory status.
• Prepare analyses and memos communicating strategy and impact to leaders and partners.
• Collaborate with developers, researchers, and government partners to advance data questions.
• Travel internationally 20–40% of the time; support fundraising and donor engagement.
