Job summary

OpenAI's Forward Deployed Engineering team in New York City seeks a delivery-focused leader. You will own end-to-end delivery of complex AI deployments for Financial Services customers, translating business goals into technical roadmaps and coordinating across FDEs, Researchers, and Customer Engineers to ship production systems.

This role is hybrid (3 days in the office), requires up to 50% travel, and emphasizes impact, ROI, and adoption, with relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of customer-facing technical delivery leadership in Financial Services.
• Experience leading large, complex AI deployment engagements.
• Ability to translate business outcomes into technical plans and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical delivery plan for multiple work streams with milestones and acceptance criteria.
• Run day-to-day engineering execution across OpenAI FDE, Researchers, and Customer Engineers.
• Embed with customer teams to land production deployments and drive adoption; lead onboarding and change management.
