Job summary

August Schell seeks an AI Delivery Engagement Lead to sit at the front edge of an Intelligence Community customer's adoption of commercial AI in McLean, VA. You will scope compelling use cases, run delivery, and own the customer relationship, translating analyst needs into platform actions and feedback.

You will bridge engineering conversations and mission requirements, manage onboarding, and guide cross-functional teams through end-to-end delivery in a trusted, on-site engagement.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
• Experience with this customer or government environment.
• Technical foundation in CS/engineering/data science; AI/ML interest.
• Willingness to work on-site in McLean, VA.
• Ability to translate mission needs into technical scope and back.
• Willingness to travel ~25% and be forward-deployed.

Responsibilities

• Scope AI and agentic-workflow use cases with mission customers; shape deliverables.
• Own end-to-end delivery for those use cases: requirements, sequencing, coordination.
• Lead cross-functional teams across platform engineering, data operations, and government stakeholders.
• Serve as the customer’s primary point of contact; manage onboarding and risk.
• Translate mission requirements into technical scope for engineers, and vice versa.
• Work hands-on on data operations and production model plumbing as needed.
• Identify repeatable patterns to scale wins across the customer organization.
• Grow the account by spotting adjacent use cases and expanding the footprint.
