Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Artificial Intelligence (AI) Data Scientist/Machine Learning (ML) Engineer with Generative AI (GenAI) experience. You will play a key role in designing and implementing digital-transformation solutions for a Fortune 100 client. Your expertise in AI, model building, and ML will enable you to create scalable, robust, and efficient solutions aligned with our client's business objectives. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, business operations, analysts, developers, and project managers, is essential for successful project delivery.

This remote, full-time, salaried position may require some initial travel for model development and deployment. The candidate must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance. SEIS participates in the E-Verify program to validate work authorization in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and optimization of AI/ML algorithms for existing and new systems.
• Design and develop AI models to meet project requirements.
• Convert AI/ML models into APIs for use by other developers.
• Perform statistical analysis on large datasets.
• Manage project infrastructure and AI model development.
• Collaborate with data engineers and AI engineers to develop machine learning models.
• Analyze data sets to identify patterns and develop predictive algorithms.
• Implement chatbots and virtual agents.
• Automate workflows and business processes.
• Gather requirements and provide technical solutions in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Stay updated with latest AI, Data Science, GenAI, and ML advancements.
• Conduct workshops, presentations, and demonstrations of AI/ML capabilities.
• Assist in collecting and defining functional requirements.
• Leverage new approaches for system design and functionality.
• Address security vulnerabilities in OpenAI/ChatGPT solutions.
• Integrate solutions with data sources like SharePoint, SQL Server, Oracle, cloud services, and third-party apps.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in AI/ML solutions.
• Collaborate with product management to define and implement innovative solutions.
• Present designs and milestones to stakeholders.
• Conduct user research and analyze feedback.

Qualifications and Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Development, IT, Business Analytics, or related fields. Demonstrable experience can substitute for a degree.
• Experience developing and integrating with OpenAI API is mandatory.
• Experience working with large datasets and efficient coding.
• Deep knowledge of Generative AI, deep learning, ML algorithms, and their applications.
• Proficiency in AI/ML tools such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and integration technologies, APIs, protocols.
