Who You Are:

We're seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer to join our Product Engineering team at Storyblocks. In this role, you'll help build and maintain systems that power our payments, checkout, and monetization experiences, supporting both e-commerce and enterprise customers. What You Will Do:

As a member of the Product Engineering team at Storyblocks, the leading platform for motion stock media, you'll play a key role in building and maintaining features that support our e-commerce and enterprise customers, as well as internal teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Developing user-facing interfaces with Next.js and Builder
2. Creating and maintaining backend microservices using Nest.js
3. Developing consumer subscription features using Recurly
4. Building tools to help our internal teams better support customers
5. Architecting and maintaining our billing, user management, and API systems

You'll work closely with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to design, implement, test, and deploy high-quality solutions that move the business forward.

Required:

• 3+ years of full-stack engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in modern technologies including TypeScript, Node.js, and PHP
• Proven experience with distributed systems architecture
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business teams

Preferred:

• Frontend development experience with React and Next.js
• Backend development experience with Nest.js
• Experience handling large-scale structured and unstructured datasets
• Experience working in a Turborepo monorepo environment
• Track record of designing and implementing internal/external APIs

What We Bring to the Table:

• Competitive and fair compensation: We believe in fair pay--equal pay for equal work. The annual base salary range for this position is $124,000 - $138,000, determined by factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity.
