Job summary

AGCO offers an AI & Data Science internship in Champaign, IL, starting January 2027, part-time (15-20 hours/week) during the Spring semester. You will work on an AI-powered Sales Risk & Opportunity Intelligence platform, handling large datasets, building ML models, and delivering actionable insights to AGCO sales teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, DS, AI, ML, SE, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Experience with GenAI and building RAG pipelines.
• Exposure to agentic workflows.

Responsibilities

• Support development, testing, and validation of AI/ML models.
• Design and build data pipelines, data structures, and analytical datasets.
• Develop business applications and dashboards delivering insights to end users.
• Analyze sales, dealer, customer, and market data to support predictive modeling.
• Collaborate with commercial/technical teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Assist with application design and UX improvements to drive adoption.
• Document technical processes and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Explore and implement innovative technologies to improve sales intelligence.
