Job summary

AGCO in Champaign, IL is seeking an AI & Data Science Intern to help build an AI-powered Sales Risk & Opportunity Intelligence platform for AGCO North America. You will work with large datasets to develop machine learning models, data pipelines, and dashboards that generate actionable recommendations for sales teams.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Experience working with GenAI and building RAG pipelines.
• Exposure to agentic workflows.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, testing, and validation of AI and machine learning models.
• Design and build data pipelines, data structures, and analytical datasets.
• Develop business applications and dashboards that deliver insights to end users.
• Analyze sales, dealer, customer, and market data to support predictive modeling initiatives.
• Collaborate with commercial and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Assist with application design and user experience improvements to drive adoption.
• Document technical processes and communicate project results to stakeholders.
• Explore and implement innovative technologies that improve sales intelligence capabilities.
