Job summary

AGCO offers an AI & Data Science internship in Champaign, IL, starting January 2027, part-time (15-20 hours/week) during the Spring semester. You will work on an AI-powered Sales Risk & Opportunity Intelligence platform, handling large datasets, building ML models, and delivering actionable insights to AGCO sales teams.

As an AI & Data Science Intern, you will help build and enhance an AI-powered Sales Risk & Opportunity Intelligence platform for AGCO North America. You will work with large datasets and emerging technologies to develop machine learning models, intelligent business applications, and data-driven tools that identify sales risks, uncover revenue opportunities, and generate actionable recommendations for AGCO sales teams.

This internship is expected to begin in January 2027 and will be a part-time opportunity (15-20 hours per week) during the Spring semester.

Your Impact

Your Experience and Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Experience working with GenAI and building RAG pipelines.
• Exposure to agentic workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Python, SQL, and data modeling.
• Coursework or project experience involving artificial intelligence, machine learning, predictive analytics, or data engineering.
• Experience building applications, dashboards, APIs, or data visualization tools.
• Experience building agentic workflows preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, databases, and software development best practices.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Interest in agriculture, equipment technology, and data-driven business solutions.

Compensation

This position will pay within the range of $24-$30 per hour , based on experience.
