Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, information science, engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Production-grade data pipelines experience with Python and SQL required.
• Experience with Databricks and AWS Glue for data pipelines and transformations.
• Familiarity with AWS services (S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Glue) and OpenSearch/Elasticsearch.
• Understanding of metadata management, data catalogs, and data quality concepts.

Responsibilities

• As an AI/Data Engineer, build pipelines and integrations to make enterprise data discoverable.
• Develop metadata enrichment, transformations, and platform integrations; contribute to AI-powered retrieval.
• Maintain Python pipelines to pull metadata from enterprise catalogs and publish to discovery platform.
• Tune search indexes, adjust analyzers, and test queries to match user needs.
• Design and maintain semantic knowledge layer and vector embeddings for RAG and LLMs.
• Implement MCP servers and APIs exposing search and metadata capabilities.
