Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Staff Data Center Solution Manager to lead the design, deployment, and validation of high-density cooling systems for AI data centers and factories. You will work with customers, partners, and internal teams to ensure successful site evaluations and scalable infrastructure deployments.

The role requires field execution, strong MEP knowledge, and the ability to travel internationally up to 50% while coordinating with vendors and integrators for sovereign AI deployments.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong practical experience in data center cooling, HVAC, and large-scale mechanical systems.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and work independently in the field.

Responsibilities

• Design air- and liquid-cooling systems for data centers and AI infrastructure.
• Develop modular skid-based cooling solutions for global deployment.
• Create detailed designs with AutoCAD and Revit; coordinate with electrical and controls teams.
• Support FAT/SAT, commissioning, and system sign-off; assist in technical audits.
• Lead engineering standards and digital design practices for global deployment.
• Provide technical leadership and training to engineers and field teams.
• Work safely on active construction and data center sites with required PPE.
