Job summary

Supermicro in the United States seeks a Staff Data Center Solutions Engineer to be the primary technical contact for large GPU cluster deployments at customer sites, Supermicro facilities, and partner colocation environments. This is a fulfillment role with potential to lead a small team as the group scales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related engineering or CS field with extensive datacenter or GPU cluster deployment experience.
• Strong presentation and communication skills for direct customer engagement.
• Ability to guide internal tooling work without writing production code.

Responsibilities

• Drive DataCenter Systems Planning & Deployment with customers for GPU cluster deployments.
• Advise on cooling and power products (DLC, CDUs, Sidecars, cooling towers, chillers).
• Integrate Building Management System (BMS) monitoring into datacenter infrastructure.
• Apply knowledge of NeoCloud and GPUaaS to guide deployment decisions and diagnostics.
• Direct internal tooling and automation discussions with engineering.
• Lead cross-functional teams through critical deployment windows.
• Coordinate with partner datacenter teams for readiness.
• Contribute to AI Factory service strategy and runbooks creation.
