Job summary

Computacenter AG & Co. oHG seeks a Solution Architect (GPU/Compute) to own the technical architecture for GPU and accelerated compute infrastructure, translating AI training, inference, HPC, capacity, performance, and scaling requirements into deployable compute solutions.

This role is a customer-facing technical leader supporting the sales organization throughout discovery, solution development, technical validation, and transition to deployment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data center compute, systems engineering, or solution architecture.
• Deep expertise in GPU/accelerated compute and HPC infrastructure.
• Experience with large-scale GPU clusters, AI training/inference, and hyperscale environments.
• Strong knowledge of GPU servers, PCIe, NVMe, and systems management.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and architecture for GPU/Compute opportunities.
• Design scalable GPU clusters and accelerated compute platforms.
• Translate requirements into platform sizing, configurations, BOMs, and standards.
• Define compute architecture dependencies across networking, storage, and power.
• Support cluster bring-up, validation, benchmarking, and production readiness.
• Collaborate with OEMs, Network/Storage Solution Architects, and delivery teams.
• Support RFQs/RFPs, workshops, and architecture reviews.
• Develop repeatable compute reference architectures for large-scale AI Data Center programs.
