Job summary

NATIONAL OnDemand, Inc. is staffing a multi-year telecommunications OSP/fiber project in Louisiana. The Project Manager will oversee day-to-day field execution, crews, scheduling, budget, and coordination with the GC’s program team, reporting to the PMO.

This on-site role requires relocation to the local market and close collaboration with site leadership. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years managing large-scale telecom construction, fiber/cabling installation, splicing, testing/turnover, and

Qualifications

• 6+ years managing data center, campus, or large-scale telecom OSP construction projects.
• Experience overseeing fiber optic and structured cabling installation, splicing, testing/turnover.
• Knowledge of OTDR testing, SMF/MMF, and MTP/MPO connectivity.
• Familiarity with TIA/EIA, ISO/IEC standards and QC.
• Willingness to relocate or reside locally; on-site role.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass site security checks.

Responsibilities

• Own full project lifecycle from initiation to turnover.
• Lead deployment of fiber and copper cabling for high-density AI compute environments.
• Serve as on-site PM to GC team, representing scope, schedule and quality.
• Develop and maintain schedule, WBS, governance plan; align roles and RACI.
• Build and maintain master CPM schedule with milestones across a campus.
• Coordinate with engineering and construction teams on interfaces and site access.
• Manage crews for cabling placement, splicing, testing, and QA.
• Oversee testing, turnover, and compliance with industry standards.
• Drive risk mitigation, change management, and cost forecasting.
• Assemble as-built documentation for GC and customer turnover.
• Utilize Monday.com, PenguinData, Power BI for visibility.
