Insight Global is seeking a Fiber Project Manager to coordinate fiber projects with GC, construction teams, and fiber operations. You will manage scheduling, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring a smooth handoff to the fiber team while communicating with stakeholders.

The role focuses on data center access, fiber installations, and using PM tools to track progress. Onsite work 3–5 days per week is expected, with a 6-month contract transitioning to permanent in a dynamic infrastructure

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating fiber/telecom projects with general contractors.

Job description

Insight Global is seeking a Fiber Project Manager for a leading fiber infrastructure client. This candidate will manage the coordination of fiber projects by partnering with general contractors, construction teams, and fiber operations teams. The ideal candidate has experience with data center access requirements, ISP-related fiber deployments, project scheduling, and tracking deliverables through completion. This role is heavily focused on project coordination, stakeholder communication, and ensuring a smooth handoff from construction to the fiber team. This is a 6 month contract to permanent position.

Compensation: $30/hr - $38/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.

Must-Haves

• Experience managing General Contractors (GCs) on fiber or telecom projects
• Strong project scheduling and milestone management experience
• Knowledge of data center access processes and requirements
• Experience coordinating fiber installation activities, including fiber pulls and splicing
• Strong project tracking experience using trackers, reports, and project management tools
• Experience partnering with construction teams and driving projects through handoff to fiber operations
• Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills
• Ability to work in a primarily desk-based/project coordination role
• Ability to work onsite 3-5 days per week
