Job summary

Wildhorse Recruiting seeks an Electrical Commissioning Engineer for AI data centers. This field-based role covers L3–L5 commissioning, from equipment readiness through functional testing and IST, with two weeks onsite and one week offsite.

Relocation assistance is available for nearby project sites. Requirements include 2+ years in electrical commissioning on data center projects, with hands-on experience with LV/MV power equipment, coordination, and documentation.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of electrical commissioning beyond entry level.
• Direct hands-on commissioning on data center projects.
• Experience with low- or medium-voltage critical power equipment.

Responsibilities

• Review diagrams, submittals, specs, and sequences for critical power systems.
• Walk down switchgear, UPS, generators, ATS, PDUs, and busway to identify issues.
• Coordinate startup, QA records, and documentation for functional testing.
• Execute functional tests and verify EPMS/BMS data alignment.
• Record results, maintain logs, and prepare turnover reports.
