Job summary

Align is seeking a Technical Project Manager to oversee large-scale data center cabling deployments across the U.S. You will plan, coordinate, document, and deliver projects on time and within budget, working with clients, field teams, vendors, and subcontractors.

50% travel may be required; relocation assistance may be available. The ideal candidate has experience in AI infrastructure or hyperscale data centers and strong PM skills, with proficiency in Excel and PM tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in project management for data centers or similar tech infra.
• Experience coordinating multiple teams, vendors, and budgets.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer-facing skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and PM/scheduling/reporting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage data center cabling and infrastructure projects from planning through closeout.
• Create and maintain project schedules, budgets, milestones, risk logs, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with clients, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Track progress, identify risks, and resolve schedule or deployment issues.
• Manage RFIs, change orders, submittals, status reports, and closeout documentation.
• Track materials, equipment readiness, labor, and costs.
• Lead client and internal project meetings with clear status updates.
• Partner with Superintendents and Foremen to ensure field work meets requirements.
• Support QA/QC, testing, commissioning, turnover, and closeout.
