Job summary

Peraton seeks an Emerging Threats Analyst to support DAMO-Strategic Operations/Cyber Operations. This senior role focuses on AI-based threats to Army networks, developing policy and guiding cyber operations strategy. Work location includes the Pentagon and Arlington facilities with significant policy exposure and cross-agency collaboration.

Responsibilities cover analyzing AI-enabled risks, researching open-source and serialized intel, and producing briefings to inform strategic decisions. U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience: 12 years with BS/BA; 10 years with MS/MA; 7 years with Ph.D.; or equivalent combinations.
• Experience in CO/CEMA at HQDA or equivalent level and above.
• Knowledge of HQDA processes and systems; completed senior military education.
• Prior DoD Cyber Protection Team experience from any service.
• Experience with JCIDS, PPBE, DoD documentation and defense planning processes.
• Excellent writing, editing, and briefing skills; proficient in Word, Excel, and PM.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic team and meet deadlines.
• U.S. Citizenship is required; active TS clearance with SCI potential.

Responsibilities

• Develop policy for AI-based solutions to enhance cyber operations.
• Provide expert analysis and recommendations for countermeasures.
• Analyze emerging AI-based threats to Army networks and systems.
• Research AI threats using serialized intel reports, OSINT and public info.
• Understand Army use of AI-enabled functions, including risks and vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with Army analysts to share AI usage and effects.
• Develop and present reports, briefings, and decision-making products.
• Lead or assist policy direction for Army AI use in cyber operations.
