Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience, or Master’s 3+ years, or PhD 2+ years.
• Additional 4 years of experience may substitute for education.
• Demonstrated work experience in Cyber Threat Analytics.
• Experience in Cyber Intelligence requiring at least moderate technical acumen.
• U.S. citizenship is required and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• Willingness to travel 10–25%.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze open source and classified reporting to identify threat trends.
• Produce threat intelligence products and briefings for internal and external partners.
• Document and report threats that may exploit DHS stakeholders.
• Coordinate, share information, and work with customer components.
• Document Indicators of Compromise and high‑impact TTPs.
• Develop daily analytic products to increase situational awareness.
• Report on patterns of behavior from incidents, threats, and risks.
• Create operational trend analyses using internal/external data.
• Support exercises with research and reporting during cyber incidents.
• Identify new threat frameworks and methodologies for analysis.
• Enrich Threat Indicator databases with contextual data.
• Respond to corroborating or clarifying information requests.
• Produce performance metrics reports weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually.
