Job summary

ProcyonIT in Charlotte, North Carolina is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design and build AI agents and copilots for enterprise use cases. The engagement is contract-based and onsite-focused, with work spanning RAG pipelines, knowledge graphs, and integration across internal systems and APIs.

This role emphasizes practical AI capabilities, including copilots and agent workloads built with modern frameworks.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT experience with AI/GenAI delivery.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Strong experience with RAG and vector databases (Azure AI Search, Pinecone, FAISS).
• Experience with knowledge graphs (Neo4j, Cosmos DB Gremlin).
• Experience with LLM frameworks such as Azure OpenAI, LangChain, Semantic Kernel.
• Proficiency in Python and REST APIs.
• Cloud experience, preferably Azure.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI agents and copilots using Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Develop RAG pipelines across ingestion, embedding, indexing, retrieval, and generation.
• Build and query knowledge graphs to improve answer accuracy.
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems and APIs.
• Evaluate and optimize output quality, latency, and cost.
