Job summary

BCforward is seeking an AI Engineer to design and deliver secure, scalable AI solutions using Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Azure AI services in a hybrid Charlotte-based environment. The role focuses on LLMs, RAG, AI agents, and enterprise integrations to drive efficiency and innovation across business functions.

The candidate will develop AI applications, integrate with Power Platform, and apply governance and monitoring across the solution lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise AI solutions using Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Azure AI services.
• Develop LLM-based applications and agentic workflows, including RAG pipelines.
• Create secure REST API integrations and automate business processes using Power Platform and cloud services.
• Apply prompt engineering best practices, evaluate models, and monitor AI performance.
• Embed responsible AI principles, governance, and risk controls across the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready solutions using CI/CD.
