Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks an Associate in AI Controls Enablement within Controls Strategy & Innovation (CSI).

You will report to the AI Controls Enablement program lead as part of a team delivering advanced AI risk controls at the intersection of business and technology. You will collaborate with Control Managers and technology partners to make AI risks visible, co-develop controls, and provide actionable guidance to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in risk or control management within financial services, with a focus on compliance and operational risk mitigation.
• Technical fluency in AI, including understanding of model behavior, limitations and failure modes.
• Ability to translate complex AI behavior into documented, escalatable risk findings within a controls framework.
• Capability to implement robust controls to safeguard operations and meet regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in process and data analysis to interpret business needs and trends.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI tools with Citizen Developers and Technology, co-sign tool submissions before deployment.
• Select the right tool for problems, evaluating cost across AI and automation tools to prototype and scale controls.
• Run scenario simulations and red-team exercises; establish best practices for AI tool reviews and deployment.
• Coordinate AI Controls Council communications, producing quarterly AI Controls Intelligence Reports for senior leadership.
