Job summary

Outlier is hiring detail-oriented reviewers to evaluate AI-generated media. You will engage in live conversations with AI voice models, assess outputs, and explain in writing what went off. Work remotely on a flexible schedule, reviewing images, videos, and audio to judge adherence to prompts.

You’ll score and compare outputs, provide precise written explanations, and help improve AI systems. Applicants from multiple countries are welcome, with compensation up to $18/hour and weekly payments.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong written communication and clear expression.
• High attention to detail and the ability to replay or zoom in to spot issues.
• Nice to have: Bachelor's degree or above.
• Able to think on your feet and discuss realistic scenarios naturally.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Capable of deciding when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models, then ranking naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging which follows the prompt better.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and misaligned audio.
• Rating outputs across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, and writing a written explanation in English.
