Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media on a fully remote, flexible schedule. You will conduct live conversations with AI voice models, rate outputs, and explain what’s off in writing, helping improve AI systems in real-world use.

The role includes reviewing images, videos, and audio, with pay up to $18/hr and incentives. Candidates from multiple regions can apply; prior writing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong written communication and comfortable with natural conversational speech.
• Excellent attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Experience writing concise, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Ability to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and ranking naturalness and usefulness.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos, judging which follows prompts better.
• Inspecting outputs closely—zooming, replaying—to identify issues like distortions, flickering, or misalignment.
• Writing a specific, English explanation pointing to observed issues with examples.
