Verizon in San Francisco is seeking an Outside Plant Engineer to drive end-to-end deployment of our AI Connect Ultra Long Haul Network, overseeing engineering, real estate acquisition, and construction of OSP infrastructure across routes and facilities.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop deployment strategies, analyze sites, manage permits, and ensure timely project delivery while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of related experience.
• Experience in OSP/fiber engineering, construction, or site acquisition.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and maintain outside plant infrastructure.
• Lead site acquisition and permits.
• Manage external vendors and scheduling.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and interface with stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate cross-functional teams.
