Job summary

Mistral is seeking a Compute Solution Architect to support strategic AI Infrastructure customers, designing and scaling AI solutions, and managing large GPU workloads. You will collaborate with sales and product teams to drive growth and ensure customer satisfaction.

You will lead technical engagements, advise on architecture, and work with Founders, CTOs, and research engineers to deliver end-to-end infrastructure deployments and optimizations.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of experience in cloud solutions architecture and related roles.
• Hands-on experience with cloud services and AI/ML workloads.
• Proven track record in technical pre-sales / solutions architecture driving infrastructure engagements through to production.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and advanced implementations.
• Familiarity with cluster orchestration and scheduling: Slurm, Kubernetes, and batch/HPC workload management.

Responsibilities

• TECHNICAL CUSTOMER OWNERSHIP - Serve as the primary technical point of contact, troubleshooting and resolving issues for AI Infrastructure services.
• STRATEGIC CONTRACT DELIVERY - Lead the delivery of strategic GPUaaS contracts and ensure all commitments are met, including timelines, SLAs, and support.
• PRODUCT AND SUPPORT COLLABORATION - Act as a bridge to product and support teams, providing customer feedback, relaying feature requests, and ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
• GPU PERFORMANCE OPTIMIZATION - Guide customers in optimizing GPU performance for ML training and inference workloads, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
• SALES PARTNERSHIP - Partner with the sales team to identify new opportunities, promote the latest products, and deliver technical presentations.
• Engage directly with key customer stakeholders, including Founders, CTOs, Research Engineers, and Heads of Infrastructure.
