Job summary

Mistral seeks an Operations Engineer to build and support the infrastructure behind sovereign AI. You will manage Linux environments, cloud systems, and AI workloads at scale, ensuring reliability for customers and internal teams.

You will collaborate across research, product, and infrastructure, troubleshoot incidents, and push cloud-native modernization with Kubernetes and GPU orchestration.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux system administration experience at scale.
• Proficiency in Slurm and/or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with distributed storage and high-performance networking.
• Customer-focused mindset: diagnose, explain, and resolve issues for users.
• Hands-on, pragmatic and collaborative—drive modernization.

Responsibilities

• Own and operate the infrastructure powering Mistral’s sovereign AI, including Linux environments, cloud systems, and AI workloads.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents to ensure high availability, performance, and security for models, products, and compute platforms.
• Collaborate with research, product, and infrastructure teams to align systems with AI and customer needs.
• Provide technical support to customers and internal teams, diagnosing issues and guiding solutions.
• Explore and contribute to modern cloud-native technologies, including Kubernetes and GPU orchestration.
