Job summary

SpaceXSI is seeking a Data Center Manager to oversee a team of technicians and ensure peak efficiency of the AI compute infrastructure. You will manage power, cooling, networking, and hardware deployments while driving incident resolution and continuous improvement across sites.

You will lead a team through training, performance reviews, and process optimization, collaborating closely with AI specialists and external vendors to scale capacity and improve sustainability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data center operations and 3+ years in technical team leadership.
• Strong server hardware and cabling proficiency with lifecycle management.
• Experience coordinating with vendors and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data center operations to ensure 99.999% uptime for AI compute systems.
• Lead and develop a team of Data Center Operations Technicians.
• Manage hardware lifecycles, incidents, and inventory with precision.
• Coordinate with AI specialists and external vendors to scale capacity.
• Champion energy-efficient practices and sustainable operations.
• Track uptime, power efficiency, and resolution times for improvements.
• Guide emergency responses and ensure rapid, clear decision-making.
• Standardize processes and Jira workflows across sites as needed.
• Support expansion efforts and alignment with growth plans.
