Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a Data Center Manager to lead a team of operations technicians and engineers responsible for 99.999% uptime of our AI compute infrastructure. You will align site operations with the company’s growth strategy, optimize power and cooling, and drive automation and sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities include managing hardware lifecycles, incident response, vendor coordination, and cross-functional collaboration with AI specialists to scale capacity while ensuring safety

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data center operations or similar critical environments with 3+ years leading technical teams.
• Proven ability to lead teams effectively in fast-paced, high-responsibility settings.
• Solid expertise in server hardware, cabling, and data center technologies from setup to lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee power, cooling, networking, and hardware deployments to ensure 99.999% uptime for AI compute systems.
• Lead and develop a team of Data Center Operations Technicians through training and evaluations.
• Streamline hardware lifecycles, incident resolution, and inventory management with precision.
• Coordinate between technicians, AI specialists, and external vendors to integrate new technology and expand capacity.
• Drive energy-efficient practices and sustainability efforts while supporting AI workloads.
• Track uptime, power efficiency, and issue resolution times to inform decisions.
