Job summary

Bailey Information Technology, LLC is recruiting an experienced AI Engineer to lead AI solutions, drive development efforts, and collaborate with pipeline teams. The role covers deployment and maintenance of cloud-based software technologies and Sea-based systems to achieve advanced AI capabilities.

The ideal candidate will design secure AI architectures, optimize customer experiences, and lead teams in deploying AI tools within AWS cloud environments, leveraging a strong DoD 8570/compliance

Qualifications

• BS in CS/Engineering or related field with 10+ years of exp, or MS with 7+ years; or 7 years extra exp in lieu of degree.
• 7+ years leading, designing and implementing distributed solutions; 5+ years cloud-based solutions
• Experience in Cloud and PaaS environments
• Subject Matter Expertise across various AI technologies
• Familiar with Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Python, Gitlab, CloudFormation, Zabbix, ACAS, PostgreSQL, Scrum, Kanban, Terraform
• Knowledge of SDLC and AGILE best practices
• Windows Domain Administrator of user accounts and group policy; Linux administration
• Proactive leader with strong communication; detail-oriented and adaptable to new AI tech
• Demonstrates ability to plan and prioritize; ensure tasks meet standards
• Excellent verbal and written communications; ability to present ideas to varied audiences
• Must possess and maintain TS clearance with SCI ability and CI Poly
• DoD 8570 Certification Compliance (IAT Level 2/3)
• Familiar with team collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, RocketChat)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team on AI architectures, including operational status and dashboard tooling with security.
• Collaborate with client AI initiatives, providing insights into technologies and practices.
• Design, secure and automate AWS cloud initiatives while optimizing AI-driven experiences.
• Optimize customer experiences and analytics by enhancing software development flows, KPIs, and dashboards with AI.
• Provide broad systems engineering lifecycle experience for cloud initiatives related to design and development.
• Lead teams to deploy and configure services with AI tools.
