Job summary

Avangrid seeks a Lead, AI Change Management to drive transformation change management across the utility enterprise, partnering with Data & AI, Enterprise Architecture, People & Organization, and IT to ensure sustainable adoption of AI-enabled ways of working.

You will design adoption strategies, readiness metrics, and stakeholder engagement activities that deliver measurable value while promoting responsible AI and risk-aware change practices throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field and eight (8) years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading organizational change, transformation, or enterprise program delivery.
• Experience with cross-functional transformation initiatives and adoption measurement.
• Knowledge of change management, governance, and training in enterprise programs.
• Ability to translate complex transformation topics into clear messages.
• Experience with AI adoption, data/privacy and governance concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute change management strategies for enterprise transformation initiatives, including AI-enabled programs.
• Lead change activities to help employees understand, trust, and adopt AI capabilities and governance requirements.
• Identify and manage stakeholder groups across operations, IT, HR, legal/compliance, and leadership; foster engagement and readiness.
• Assess current-state processes and translate findings into readiness plans, mitigation actions, and adoption interventions.
• Develop messaging, training materials, and adoption campaigns to support successful transitions.
• Support process redesign and operating model changes to embed outcomes into day-to-day work.
• Define adoption KPIs, readiness dashboards, and executive reporting linking activity to business outcomes.
• Coordinate with governance, privacy, risk, and cybersecurity teams on adoption plans.
• Support pilot-to-production transitions and continuous improvement for transformation initiatives.
• Develop AI literacy programs and learning pathways to improve readiness and fluency.
