Job summary

Scale AI is hiring an AI Builder Intern on the Data & Technology team to ship AI-powered automation and agentic workflows. You’ll work with engineers, data scientists, and ops leads on live projects, building tools that teams use daily and iterating quickly to improve workflows.

You should have hands-on LLM API experience and be proficient in Python or JavaScript, with familiarity in agentic frameworks. Enrollment in CS/DS/engineering programs is expected.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs.
• Proficient in Python and/or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with at least one agentic framework.
• Strong product instincts.
• Able to move fast while maintaining quality.
• Currently enrolled in CS, data science, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy multi-step agentic workflows using LLM-integrated frameworks.
• Build API-connected automations tying Slack, Salesforce, Notion, and internal data systems.
• Prototype and iterate fast to ship working demos.
• Develop lightweight internal tools and dashboards for AI outputs.
• Create vibe-code UIs for internal adoption.
• Instrument your work and capture usage signals and ROI metrics.
