Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a hands-on Engineer-AI Builder for the Ring team in the United States. You will craft scalable GenAI/ML architectures and build AI-based solutions that improve operational excellence, while advocating for customer-driven roadmap enhancements.

You will lead technical workshops, contribute reusable code and reference architectures, and mentor engineers across the organization to advance GenAI adoption and field enablement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
• 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Build technical relationships with internal and external customers of all sizes and operate as their trusted advisor, ensuring they get the most out of the AI builder solutions at every stage of their journey while adopting GenAI/ML and Agentic technologies across their organization.
• Automate program management and product management operations through applying AI Agents.
• Champion leveraging GenAI, RAG and Agentic technologies for operational excellence.
• Be the voice of the customer, sharing needs regarding Gen AI services usage.
• Link technology to tangible solutions and define cloud-native GenAI/ML and Agentic architectural patterns for various use cases.
• Create and share best practices, technical content and new reference architectures and educate about running GenAI/ML and Agentic workloads (workshops, user groups, etc.).
• Provide Technical Leadership & Mentorship through hands-on deep dives and workshops, contributing reusable code and architectures.
