Job summary

Amazon Ring is seeking a Builder to design, implement, and ship mobile features in the Ring app used by millions of customers daily. You will own end-to-end experiences, from UI to integration with backend services, ensuring reliability and clarity in every interaction.

You will work with Swift, Kotlin, or React Native, apply AI-assisted tooling for code generation, testing, and reviews, and collaborate with product, UX, and platform partners to raise the bar for craftsmanship at scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mobile software development experience.
• Experience building mobile apps for iOS or Android; or production React Native.
• Experience with modern UI frameworks (SwiftUI/UIKit, Jetpack Compose, or React Native).
• Strong understanding of mobile fundamentals: app lifecycle, performance, networking, persistence, testing.
• Experience with unit/UI testing and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship features for Ring mobile applications used by millions.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code with emphasis on reliability and performance.
• Use AI-powered development tools for code generation, testing, review, and debugging.
• Contribute to evolving the team’s architecture and reduce friction points.
• Collaborate with product, UX, backend, and platform teams to deliver cohesive experiences.
• Maintain operational excellence by improving observability and CI/CD health.
• Participate in design and code reviews to raise craft standards.
