Build the agents and automations that remove manual work from HR, IT, finance and back-office processes. This is a hands-on hybrid engineering role requiring both the new Copilot Studio/Power Platform experience and Microsoft Agent Framework development—not one in place of the other.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop, test and deploy process agents, approvals, routing and intake/triage automations based on prioritized business requirements.
- Build low-code solutions with Copilot Studio's new agent experience, Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse and enterprise connectors.
- Build coded agents and coordinated workflows using Microsoft Agent Framework in .NET and/or Python, including multi-agent and human-in-the-loop steps when needed.
- Connect automation to ServiceNow, Workday, Dynamics 365 and Microsoft 365/Teams using APIs, Azure Functions, APIM, connectors and MCP servers.
- Work with product owners, business analysts and the technical lead to map current workflows, reduce unnecessary steps and define measurable improvements.
- Deliver changes through governed environments and pipelines; support functional and agent-output evaluation with independent QA, then hand over to support.
- Choose deterministic flows or applications over AI agents wherever they offer a simpler, safer and more economical solution.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Hands-on experience with BOTH (1) the NEW Copilot Studio agent experience and Power Platform and (2) Microsoft Agent Framework agent development in C#/.NET and/or Python.
- Demonstrated delivery of working business-process automations, including understanding of process steps, approvals, exceptions and business outcomes.
- Low-code skills in Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse, connectors, solutions and Power Platform pipelines.
- Ability to implement tool-calling agents and graph-based workflows, including state management, orchestration and human approvals.
- Integration experience with enterprise applications such as ServiceNow, Workday and Dynamics 365, using REST APIs, connectors and/or MCP.
- Strong debugging, collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to explain what you built personally and why each technology was selected.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Experience with HR, ITSM, accounting, finance or revenue-cycle processes.
- Azure Functions/APIM integration patterns, agent observability and testing.
- Healthcare-domain experience, including PHI/HIPAA awareness.
DELIVERY ENVIRONMENT
Work in a dedicated, cross-functional AI delivery pod alongside business stakeholders, project management and technical partners. Deliver in fixed two-week waves against clear acceptance criteria; reuse shared patterns, complete architecture and security reviews, and work with independent QA/AI evaluation before release. Solutions move through governed development, UAT and production stages, with support and hypercare handoff. Responsible AI, data access, auditability and cost versus business value are built into the delivery process.
