Lead the technical design of AI-enabled process automation across HR, IT and enterprise operations. This role combines hands-on Copilot Studio/Power Platform expertise with pro-code agent development, and owns solution architecture, integration decisions, data readiness and the pod's technical quality gate.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own end-to-end solution design and technical decisions for process automation, from current-state workflow analysis through production-ready architecture.
- Select the most appropriate implementation for each process: Copilot Studio agent, Power Automate flow, Power App, pro-code agent or deterministic non-AI workflow.
- Architect solutions spanning ServiceNow, Workday, Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365/Teams and internal services, using connectors, REST APIs, Azure Functions, APIM and MCP servers.
- Use the new Copilot Studio agent experience and Microsoft Agent Framework to design orchestration, graph-based workflows, multi-agent coordination and human approval steps.
- Set solution acceptance criteria; support shared QA and AI evaluation; own technical escalation, peer review and adherence to shared engineering patterns.
- Account for source ownership, authorized access, data quality, freshness, retrieval, auditability and ongoing monitoring before solutions are released.
- Prepare architecture-review submissions, coordinate identity and MCP integrations with the platform team, and support handoff to production support and hypercare.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Prior experience as a solution architect or technical lead, with demonstrable ownership of architecture decisions and complex enterprise integrations.
- Hands-on experience with BOTH low-code and pro-code AI delivery: the NEW Copilot Studio agent experience; Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, solutions and deployment pipelines; and Microsoft Agent Framework in .NET and/or Python.
- Experience designing agent workflows with tools, state/context, graph orchestration and human-in-the-loop approvals.
- Production experience automating real business workflows, including process mapping, improvement opportunities, baseline metrics and outcome measurement.
- Enterprise systems integration with ServiceNow (ITSM/requests/approvals, Table API), Workday, Dynamics 365 and/or Teams through connectors and APIs.
- Ability to communicate tradeoffs, guide developers, maintain reusable patterns and coordinate with business owners, QA, data and platform teams.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Experience automating healthcare operations, revenue cycle management, HR or finance processes.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, MCP security patterns and enterprise API governance.
- Healthcare privacy, PHI/HIPAA awareness and regulated-environment delivery.
DELIVERY ENVIRONMENT
Work in a dedicated, cross-functional AI delivery pod alongside business stakeholders, project management and technical partners. Deliver in fixed two-week waves against clear acceptance criteria; reuse shared patterns, complete architecture and security reviews, and work with independent QA/AI evaluation before release. Solutions move through governed development, UAT and production stages, with support and hypercare handoff. Responsible AI, data access, auditability and cost versus business value are built into the delivery process.
