Job summary

C10 Labs, Cambridge-based AI-native venture studio, is seeking a Managing Director to lead its AI Bio platform—overseeing venture creation, investing, and ecosystem development with LabCentral collaborations.

You will recruit founders, shape investment opportunities, and build strategic partnerships across MIT, Harvard, and the Cambridge ecosystem to accelerate AI-driven life sciences startups.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years in venture capital, venture studios, startup leadership, or ecosystem development.
• Experience evaluating and supporting early-stage technology companies; founder experience valued.
• Strong understanding of AI and exposure to biotechnology, therapeutics, computational biology, synthetic biology, or healthcare.
• Advanced degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI Bio venture platform, overseeing venture creation, investing, and ecosystem development.
• Recruit exceptional founders and early-stage companies; design accelerator and venture creation programs.
• Build networks of mentors, entrepreneurs, operating partners, and investors; manage investor engagement.
