Responsibilities

• Lead venture platform initiatives (accelerator and founder programs) and investor engagement.
• Oversee early-stage diligence, market assessment, and recommendations for Investment Committee.
• Develop relationships with MIT, Harvard, Mass General Brigham, and other ecosystem partners.
• Partner with the venture studio to build new AI Bio companies from inception.

Responsibilities span venture platform leadership (running accelerator and founder programs, leading investor engagement, co-leading an annual Demo Day with LabCentral), investment (building a differentiated pipeline of AI Bio opportunities, leading early-stage diligence and market assessment, preparing recommendations for the CIO and Investment Committee), ecosystem development (building relationships with MIT, Harvard, Mass General Brigham, the Broad Institute, and LabCentral), and venture creation (partnering with the venture studio to build new AI Bio companies from inception, recruiting founding CEOs and technical founders).The ideal candidate combines strong investment judgment with a builder's mindset, bringing at least seven years of experience in venture capital, venture studios, startup leadership, or entrepreneurial ecosystem development, along with experience evaluating and supporting early-stage technology companies.
