Job summary

C10 Labs is seeking Founders in Residence to build AI-driven healthtech, biotech, and deeptech ventures in Cambridge/Boston. You will work with the team to identify high-impact problems and prototype solutions leveraging AI, data, and scientific tooling.

This build-track role supports founders from day zero, offering infrastructure and ecosystem to launch a new company and pursue seed/Series A financing with mentors and partners.

Qualifications

• Technical builder or operator with AI, CS, bioengineering background
• Experience in healthcare, biotech, or deeptech environments
• Founder mindset — built, scaled, or operated in early-stage companies
• Strong ability to navigate ambiguity and zero-to-one environments
• Deep curiosity about applying AI to real-world challenges

Responsibilities

• Identify high-impact opportunities where AI can transform major industries
• Conduct market research, customer discovery, and technical validation
• Build prototypes, proofs-of-concept, or early product architectures
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and venture teams
• Engage with mentors, researchers, and industry partners
• Develop fundraising narratives and investor materials
• Recruit early team members or co-founders
• Launch and lead the new company as CEO or co-founder following venture formation
