Job summary

Omnissa is building the AI Platform to deliver AI-powered application features within a cloud-scale environment. We are seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to design, develop, and integrate AI-driven capabilities that power secure, scalable digital work experiences across devices and clouds.

You will work with platform, product, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality backend services, APIs, and AI integrations in a hybrid work setup in the United States.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of experience as a Software Engineer building scalable applications.
• Strong proficiency in Python and at least one other language (Java, Go, or C++).
• Experience with backend systems, APIs, and microservices architectures.
• Experience with REST/gRPC APIs.
• Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into applications.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration.
• Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills in Agile environments.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver AI-powered application features and services.
• Build and integrate AI capabilities into applications.
• Develop backend services, APIs, and logic that interact with AI/ML systems.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to productionize models.
• Build scalable distributed systems with high availability.
• Implement observability, monitoring, logging for AI components.
• Participate in system design, architecture discussions, code reviews.
• Improve system performance and developer productivity.
• Stay current with AI advancements and apply to product use cases.
