Job summary

Omnissa is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to design and develop architecture components on the Workspace ONE Intelligence Platform using AWS and open-source tech. You will own engineering initiatives and drive high ownership, quality, and security practices.

You should have 7+ years in software engineering, strong Java and Spring experience, and a track record with microservices, cloud services (AWS), and AI-assisted development tools. Hybrid work in Mountain View/Atlanta.

Qualifications

7+ years of software engineering experience with cloud services and architecture
Proficient in Java and Spring Framework
Experience with microservice architectures and high-scale systems
Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, OpenSearch)
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools
DevOps, Agile and CI/CD practices
Strong collaboration and communication skills

Responsibilities

Design and develop architecture components for the Workspace ONE Intelligence Platform
Own engineering initiatives and champion high ownership and engineering excellence
Review code and designs; contribute technical insights and improvements
Drive API design and performance considerations across REST/GraphQL
