Job summary

Omnissa is seeking an AI Application Software Engineer to design, develop, and integrate intelligent AI-powered features across a cloud-scale platform. You will collaborate with platform, product, and engineering teams to deliver seamless AI-powered capabilities and maintain high ownership and engineering excellence.

The role emphasizes building scalable backend services, REST/gRPC APIs, and systems that handle AI/ML workloads, with a hybrid work model in Mountain View, CA or Atlanta, GA.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one other programming language.
• Experience building backend systems and microservices architectures.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies.
• Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver AI-powered features and services.
• Build AI capabilities such as LLM-based features, automation workflows, and intelligent user experiences into applications.
• Develop backend services, APIs, and application logic that interact with AI/ML systems and models.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to integrate models into production-grade applications.
• Build scalable and reliable distributed systems, ensuring performance and high availability.
